Comcast NBCUniversal’s Comprehensive Bilingual Voter Information Initiatives Return for 2024

As the 2024 general election approaches, Comcast NBCUniversal is making it easy to stay connected to election news, voting information, and analysis across platforms.

We’re excited to once again bring back Comcast’s Election Central destination on our TV and streaming platforms, including Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex, Xumo Stream Box, and Xumo TV, along with the Xfinity Stream app.

For two decades, Comcast has been committed to civic engagement and voter information and registration. This year, we’re helping connect our customers, viewers, and employees to important election news and actionable information to “Plan Your Vote.”

First launched in 2012, Election Central has become the go-to place for Xfinity customers every two years to get the latest on national elections. And this year, this feature-rich destination is available to even more customers with the rollout of Election Central on Xumo Stream Box and Xumo TV.

By saying “Election Central” or “Plan Your Vote” into their device’s voice remote, customers can check out the most recent news clips, navigate to their favorite news channels – across broadcast, cable, and streaming – and even get more information in English and Spanish on how to vote in their state thanks to NBC News’ Plan Your Vote tool.

Right now, customers can view replays and highlights from the national party conventions, watch their favorite news hosts, and navigate easily to the upcoming Presidential Debate on September 10 on any network of their choosing.

Plan Your Vote and Planifica Tu Voto provide a comprehensive, bilingual state-by-state guide of critical information voters need to know about voting rules and regulations where they live – including registration deadlines, mail-in voting guidelines, early in-person voting windows, and more. The tool is powered by NBC News and Telemundo journalists and sources voting information directly from state government websites across the country.
