GCI Launches Xumo Stream Box
Philadelphia, PA and Anchorage, AK
GCI, Alaska’s largest telecommunications provider, and Xumo, Comcast’s and Charter’s streaming platform joint venture, today announced the launch of Xumo Stream Box for GCI’s internet customers.
Xumo Stream Box is a 4K streaming device that makes it easy for customers to find and watch the content they love across hundreds of streaming apps and services. GCI is offering the Xumo Stream Box free with internet service or to purchase at a retail price of $59.99.

GCI joins Charter, Comcast, Cox and Mediacom as the fifth U.S.-based cable operator to offer the Entertainment OS-powered Xumo Stream Box to its customers.
