To kickoff 2024, Comcast hosted its Converge event in Philadelphia where it showcased its latest tech developments and network advancements, designed to seamlessly integrate media and technology. The mission is simple: ensure customers can easily connect to what they need and love, on any device, anywhere, now and in the future.

New Products & Features

Xfinity’s latest gateway will deliver symmetrical multi-gig speeds. As the first device in the industry to combine next-generation connectivity technologies like WiFi 7 and DOCSIS 4.0, and built-in AI technology, the gateway can efficiently, and simultaneously power hundreds of connected devices in the home.

Our newest gateway, rolling out later this year, delivers better coverage, faster speeds, and includes AI technology that ensures a consistent experience.

The fastest-rated wireless service, Xfinity Mobile, gets even faster with latest innovation, WiFi Boost. Utilizing millions of enhanced and secure Xfinity Mobile hotspots to deliver speeds 10x faster, up to 1 Gig speed.

New Xfinity innovation can turn customers’ gateways and internet-connected devices, including your printers, thermostats, etc. into motion sensors.

When enabled, customers can select devices to create motion detection zones in their home and receive movement notifications when corresponding zone are triggered.
