Over the last four years, network traffic dramatically increased and the number of connected devices in the home rose by 40 percent. In 2024, we saw the biggest consumption in internet history driven by NFL streaming and large game downloads, with the top five days all happening in the last two months of the year. The trajectory of data usage continues to skyrocket where today’s super user is tomorrow’s mainstream.

New Products & Features
This year, Xfinity’s most powerful new gateway will be the first device in the industry to deliver multi-gig symmetrical speeds over WiFi. The WiFi 7 and DOCSIS 4.0 enabled device will allow customers to take advantage of the 6 GHz band unlocking access to a new level of performance, and with built-in AI technology, the gateway can efficiently and simultaneously power up to 300 connected devices in the home.
The fastest-rated wireless service, Xfinity Mobile, gets even faster with WiFi PowerBoost, now available nationwide. This unique feature utilizes millions of enhanced and secure Xfinity Mobile hotspots to automatically deliver speeds 10x faster on customers’ mobile devices at home and on the go at no additional cost. Just recently, Ookla—an independent research firm widely recognized as the authority on internet performance—credited WiFi PowerBoost with delivering customers 150 percent faster speeds, beating all competitors.
The new Xfinity innovation can turn customers’ gateways and internet-connected devices, including your printers, thermostats, etc. into motion sensors. When enabled, customers can select devices to create motion detection zones in their home and receive movement notifications when corresponding zones are triggered.

Entertainment OS powers tens of millions of Xfinity, Sky, and Xumo devices. Partners around the world like Rogers and Foxtel are adopting Comcast’s technology to deliver amazing entertainment experiences to their customers. Entertainment OS was built with one simple vision – make entertainment easy.

With multiview, customers can watch multiple live events at the same time, so they never miss a moment of the action. In just a few weeks, we will deliver multiview for March Madness from the first round to the Final Four of both the men’s and women’s tournaments.
Epic Universe
Epic, the most ambitious and most technologically advanced park we’ve ever built, will be the first major theme park to open in the United States in the last quarter of a century. The 750-acre development features five immersive worlds, three hotels, and over 50 awe-inspiring attractions, dining, and shopping experiences.
